Anniversary Weekend 2006

This year Caleb and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary.  Every year we make it a point to do something together alone for a couple of days, even if we stay in town.  Maybe it's because we had kiddos at such a young age that we make sure to take the time and do this but regardless, I have really become grateful for the tradition.  Although we miss the kids it is nice to get away and just be "big kids" together once again...and they get spoiled by their grandparents anyways while we are gone so they don't mind.

Here are a few pics from our trip....I didn't really edit all of them but I thought I would share and document the occasion!!

This was the view right from the lobby...the "quiet pool" overlooks the golf course.  We stayed at the Omni Hotel and Resort at Champion's Gate in Orlando.

This is the lazy river...being prego and all I REALLY enjoyed this feature of the hotel!

I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband.  Our marriage isn't perfect and neither are we but God has truly blessed us in so many ways.  Life can get overwhelming sometimes but we know that God has us in His hands.  That's one thing I admire about my husband, when time gets tough his faith in the Lord is so prevalent.  I am proud of the husband and father he has become.  We might not have a really fancy house or really fancy cars but Caleb and I are so blessed with the 3 blessings that are sleeping soundly in their beds right now (plus the one one the way)!  Praise the Lord our family is healthy and we can have so much fun together just blasting some music on and dancin' around the house doing freeze dance so.... I'm looking forward to what the next 6 years will hold for me and  the man of my dreams plus our family of course!
