You may recognize their youngest son Cody from a senior session I did earlier this year. That session and this event both hold a special place in my heart.
The day of the party I found out that it was actually going to be a surprise ceremony...How fun!!! Jessy had a dress waiting for her Mom (Cheryl) and an outfit waiting for her Dad. Everyone helped chip in and Cheryl's sister had also done a lot of orchestrating food and other details as well. Here are some images to help you see how the night unfolded. It was truly an emotional night and I have to admit I was crying behind the lens while trying to take pictures :)
Enjoy!
The girls waiting for their grandparents' arrival!
The men keeping watch for the beautiful couple!
And the watch dog...
Loved the details under the altar.
Seeing the dress she was going to wear for the evening for the first time!
Cheryl's sister.
Walking out to the ceremony site :) to await his bride of 30 years....granddaughter in tow.
Getting dolled up!
Still wondering what's going on?!!
Everyone formed a line for Cheryl to walk through to meet Steve...there were some surprises along the way!
The first portion of her bouquet was given to her by her brother...a very unexpected and special surprise guest for Cheryl!
A beautiful moment...you can feel the love!
Steve a little misty eyed! ;)
My son waving at me so I had to take a picture :) wasn't a choice really lol.
